2011 New Tata Vista EV Car Picture

Indian automaker Tata attended its first fully electric vehicle, the Indica Vista EV at the Geneva Motor Show. Attended in concept form, the Indica Vista EV is based on the automaker’s top-selling car, the Indica Vista, except it adds to the equation a small electric car capable of a roughly 200 km range.

Tata says that the electric car can power the Indica Vista EV to 60 km/hours in under ten seconds, though given it is aimed at buyers in congested Indian roads, it seems that its range and low emissions would be more crucial selling points.

The car uses polymer lithium ion batteries, which are said to have improved energy density. Based on the updated Indica Vista, which is already on sale in India, the EV is likely to hit dealership showrooms in 2011 Tata designed the car in conjunction with its UK subsidiary and Miljo Grenland/Innovasjon, which is 70% owned by Tata Motor European Technical Centre, plc.

Review New Nembo Motociclette Inverted 3 Cylinder Super 32 Rovescio Motorcycle Engine

A lot of interesting projects come across our desk here at The Kneeslider, but this one, sent in by Daniele 'Titus' Sabatini of Rome, Italy, deserves a bit more attention. It's a brand new three cylinder motorcycle engine called the Nembo Motociclette Super 32 Rovescio, a two valve, air/oil cooled, single overhead cam, inverted triple. "Inverted," means just what it says, the engine is designed to run upside down. The compact crankcase is used as a stressed part of the chassis without any load being placed on the cylinders and the inverted arrangement get the cylinders well out into the airflow. A dry sump oil system keeps the oil going everywhere it should. 

Displacement ranges from 1814cc - 110.7 cubic inches to 2097cc - 127.97 cubic inches with horsepower from 160 to 250 respectively and 119.3 to 177.2 foot pounds of torque. Daniele is not a fan of the plastic covered sport bikes we see everywhere so he decided his motorcycles would be a visual feast, a good looking engine, a minimal frame and no fairings to hide all of the fins and castings. I like the way he thinks.

At the everyone waiting for the attended of the latest generation of Mercedes-Benz SLK substitute for R171, the tuners are still vying to prepare the package of the modifications to the models on this one. One of the gallery are Piecha Design modifications which have designed a package named "Hospital Performance Final Edition" as a farewell to the SLK R171 models.

The a complete front bumper package includes with integrated spiler with LED daytime running lights, wedge-shaped side skirts decorated with water intakes to the rear bumper design and lip spoiler that is embedded under the bumper. As on the side a sweetness, Piecha adopted Piecha dp2 Phantom alloy wheels measuring 19 inches and 20-inch are wrapped with 225/35/19 tires dimensions and 265/25/20.

The Piecha Design still provide a package of alert H7R lowering springs, and special with the symbols of greatness that read "Final Performance Edition Hospital. 2011 New Audi A6 Hybrid Ca Picture

It's beginning to look like the third hybrid model in the Audi lineup will be the next-generation Audi A6, expected to release in 2011. Audi has already confirmed that it will launch a Q5 hybrid in production late this year. At the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, a hybrid concept version of the new A8 flagship sedan was revealed and will likely go into production sometime next year.

The conventionally driven A6 will probably come first in 2011, with the hybrid variant to follow in 2012. By using the modular hybrid system that has been developed in concert with Volkswagen and Porsche, Audi will likely add hybrid variants to its entire lineup by the end of this decade. Hybrid vehicles will probably play a much more important role for Audi in the near term than battery electrics, which technical chief Michael Dick thinks will only account for about five percent of sales by the end of the decade.

New Audi RS3 Car Picture

Audi is released its RS portfolio. Sharing showroom space with the RS5 and TT RS from next April will be the Audi RS3. Like its coupe cousin it uses the same 2.5-litre direct injection five cylinder and develops identical power figures : 335bhp and 332lb ft. The all new Audi RS3 is far from light, though. At 1575kg, it’s 125kg more than the TT RS, which is bound to dent performance a little – although a claimed 0-60mph of 4.6secs isn’t shabby. It will only be available with the S Tronic double clutch gearbo, but there will be a launch control system.

Elsewhere the front track width has been increased, the ride height has been dropped by 25mm from the standard A3 and it is surely one of the only cars to have wider front tyres than rear . Hopefully this has been done to allow the Audi RS3’s tail to be more playful. Titanium coloured 19 in alloys are standard, but you will also be able to have them in black with a red rim strip.

The only other bit of interest about the RS3 is that it will only be available as a Sportback model – Audi-speak for five door. The reasoning goes that potential three door buyers would opt for the TT RS instead. UK ordering opens in December, with first deliveries of the £39,900 car from next April. It will inevitably do battle with the eagerly anticipated BMW 1-Series M Coupe, which we've driven recently and rate rather highly. 2011 Review New Alfa Romeo MiTo Turismo Sport car review. Don’t get barkingly excited, this isn’t a barn-storming MiTo in the mould of the much anticipated – but not yet materialised – MiTo GTA. It is in fact a Limited Edition Alfa MiTo based on the MiTo Turismo with £1,610 worth of extras bolted on and available with a petrol or oil burning engine. The extras over the MiTo Turismo spec – which already includes stuff like AirCon and Alfa’s DNA – include 16″ alloys, Cruise, Spoiler, Blue & Me and multi-function wheel.

2010 Review New Aston Martin Rapide Car Picture

The New Aston Martin Rapide is a 4-door, high-performance sport saloon, which British luxury marque Aston Martin introduced in early 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in 2006. The Rapide name is a reference to the Lagonda Rapide, a saloon car produced by Lagonda, now part of Aston Martin. The car is based on an Aston Martin DB9. The base price for the Aston Martin Rapide is $235,800 (USD) and the first cars were rolled out in May 2010.

The Rapide is built at a dedicated plant at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria. Production began in 2010 and the factory plans to build 2,000 / year. The production version features a full-length glass roof and LED light bars on the rear end, two firsts for Aston Martin. It is the spiritual successor to the Aston Martin Lagonda, the company's previous 4-door saloon, which was discontinued in 1989 - 21 years before the Rapide's launch.

For luxury and convenience, the Rapide's standard features include a tilt-telescoping steering wheel, bi-xenon headlamps and LED taillamps. Leather and walnut trim are standard, with metallic accents; power front seats with memory and heating; Bluetooth; satellite radio; and USB and iPod connectivity. The New Aston Martin Cygnet is a luxury car companied by Aston Martin and derived from the Toyota IQ. Its purpose is to allow Aston Martin to comply with the European Union's fleet average emissions standards to take place in 2012.

The Cygnet will be available initially only in the UK, and then to other EU countries. Sales will not be restricted, however, it is expected that demand from existing Aston Martin owners for Cygnet would initially take priority. Aston CEO Ulrich Bez recently announced shipping expectations of about 4000 per year at a price of about £30,000. Bez states that the Cygnet demonstrates the companies commitment to innovation and integrity, whist respecting the need to satisfy demands of emissions and space.

The Cygnet has 98 bhp (73 kW; 99 PS) 1.3L straight-4 engine, it produces 110g of CO2/km and the fuel consumption is 58.9 mpg-US (3.99 L/100 km; 70.7 mpg-imp). In the recent "Top Gear Season 15, Episode 3", the Cygnet was recently made fun of in the "News" section of the program. Presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond all unanimously expressed distaste for the concept.

The New Honda Elysion released at the Tokyo Motor Show. The 2011 New Honda Elysion was offered with either the 2.4 L DOHC direct injection K24A with i-VTEC producing 160PS (117.7kW; 157.8bhp) or the 3.0 L SOHC J30A V6 i-VTEC producing 250PS (183.9kW; 246.6bhp). The V6 was also available with "VCM" or Variable Cylinder Management. The upper trim level "Prestige" variants was available with the J35A V6 used in the Honda Legend, producing 300PS (220.6kW; 295.9bhp) and available AWD. 

The vehicles equipped with AWD had the same Legend engine, but the power was somewhat reduced to 279PS (205.2kW; 275.2bhp). This was more power than available in the Toyota Estima, which was quoted to be 280PS (205.9kW; 276.2bhp). The New Honda Elysion was equipped with speed sensitive power door locks that engaged at speeds above 15 km / hours, and the doors would unlock when the transmission was placed in "Park". For convenience, the gearshift lever is integrated into the bottom center of the instrument panel. The New Honda Elysion is used for commercial taxi service.
